Bangladesh Sports Writers' Association (BSWA) won the Bazlur Rashid memorial friendly crickci match beating Bangladesh University of Engineering and Tcchnologhy (HUET) Teacher's Club by seven wickets at the BUST ground yesterday.

Balling first. the BUET teachers scored 145 for the loss of four wickets in the stipulated 30 overs to which BSWA replied with 146 for three in 27 3 overs.

Towrid, who plays In the Mlinars First Division league for Agranl Bank, lop scored with an unbeaten 38 for the teachers, followed by Dr Sid-diq with 31. Shahcr Gafur with an unbeaten 25 and Dr. Shamtm with 22. Bablcc claimed two wickets for 18. Dulu one for 27 and Mamoon one for 29.

Mahmud Bablcc followed up his good work with the ball by hilling 52 runs for BSWA. a performance that easily won him the man-of-the-match award from BaZlur Rashids widow who attended as a special guest. Dulu. a Navana Premier Division player with Rupall Bank, remained unbeaten on 35 while Bachchu made 21. I’arlha 19 and Shlshlr 10.

Towrid claimed all three BSWA wickets conceding 19 runs.
