Bangladesh Juba Alnjib Samily FMdiy announced the list of ilw members of Ils Impartial ck-ctlon obocrvallon team" that wa* formed earlier to oversee the February 27 parliamentary polls, reports BSS

Announcing the list at a Press conference al the Natkina) Press Club lq-Dhaka. the samity's convener Advocate Abul Kalam Azad said that his orpinisation had enlisted 261 young lawyer* for 52 district committee*. Other committees for 12 district* will be an nounccd later, he said.

Convening committee members Messrs Selina Sultana Dhcilcy. Zahid Hossain. Masuduzzaman Mia. AK M Sol-ful Islam Tarcque. Golam Mostafa, M.R Mahbub and Habibur Rahman Habib were present at the Press conference.

Earlier, members of the convening committee led by Advocate Abul Kalam Azad met with Awami League chief Sbclkh Hosino, BNP chief Be gum Khaleda Zia, Fivc-I’arty leader Rashcd Khan Menon and Jamaat-e-lslami's acting Ameer Abbas Alt Khan and apprised them of their objective on the formation of the observation team. * The leaders welcomed our decision and assured us of all their help tn this regard." Mr. Azad said

The Impartial election observation team was formed on

January 4 this year at a (fncral rm-el Ing of the samily in Dhaka to sec whether the coming polls would be fair and held in a free atmosphere and whether the voters could exercise their right of franchise freely.

Meanwhile, the members of the samily visited several district* of the country and slud led the feasibility of free and fair atmosphere for the coming polls. Mr. Azad said he had received reports of charged situation prevailing in different areas of 1 1 because thefe are arms with some persons there.

The areas are , Two centres In Narshlngdi, 19 centres in Chandpur. three centres In Comilla. two centres In Brah-manbario. three upazilas including sadar of Mymcnsingh, one upazila of Nelrokona. two upazila Including sadar of Kishorcganj, two upazilas Including sadar of JhalakathL three upazilas of Sharialpur. two centres and sadar of Pabna and three centres and sadar of Gop.d0anj

The convener of the samily urged the government to take adequate measures in these areas on the polling day to avoid any possible untoward incident.
